I hate the people that come up to the projection booth "to chat" during a show. Some of them pay my salary, but I wish they'd try to chat with somebody else.  :grrr:

I wonder why some people use the phrase  'I could care less'- to me that means that you do care to a certain extent, it never makes as much sense to me as when people use the phrase 'I couldn't care less.'-since that suggests you don't care at all. ???

It is simply a very common error made by many. Just as writing hippocracy (which means "rule by horses") instead of hypocrisy, and confusing your and you're.

I had thought it was probably an error but everytime I read someone use the first expression it niggles at me in a 'that doesn't even make logical sense' way.
