My weekend has been okay- at least the kids didn't fight as much as usual.

There have been decisions I've regretted but not really the huge, life changing ones.  I do regret feeling like I was stupid for most of my life- its held me back a lot, and although that's not really a path to choose I wish I'd not wasted so much time thinking I wasn't intelligent enough for the stuff I wanted to do.

I first found out about AS when our eldest son's teachers suggested that he should be assessed for it when he was five (so I was 25).  We realised right from the start that Dunc had AS too, but it wasn't till a couple of years later that it dawned on me that I had a lot of aspie traits also.   I've not gone for an official dx, mainly for two reasons- I saw how hard Dunc had to fight to get the trust to pay for him to see the only specialist who looked at adults in our area and also because having to talk about my problems, etc to a stranger fills me with fear.

I've not seen a film that's scared me that much ever- but then again I did start watching horror films when I was around 10 or 11.  The only one I can think of that unnerved me a little was The Ring- but I think it was the creepy way she moved.
