They were pretty usual in northern Scandinavia in older times.  :thumbup:

It was made and put together in British Columbia taken apart then shipped about 2,000 miles here.  It's the nicest log home I have worked on

I had someone helping today.  I still have to go higher but that will wait till Thursday because I will be alone there tomorrow and don't want the builder to find me the next day dead on the floor :laugh:

cheers. I find them very interesting, especially as most are obviously ones who died on the eastern front, which is the area I'm most into.

I have a couple of Stalingrad ones in there somewhere
