I've been curious to know if they had made it to our street, so I took a look in response to your pic.


The view of my house sports this exciting and fashionable lens flare effect. Those are my steps to the left side of the pic, leading to my front door.

I found this gloomy pic from my town. It's the local newspaper house and the biggest hotel in town. At least four of the cars are Volvos.  ::)



I also found this beautiful pic of the bridge over the fjord west of the town. It's the European Route 6, which here is a motor highway:

I don't think that triple-glazed, self-locking-from-the-inside third-story windows would count as an 'opportunity' to many people, steel shutters or not.
