That hay isn't dusty, is it?

What're you feeding him/her?

No it's not dusty - it's what the people we bought him off said to use anyway

He has some tortoise food we got from the aquatics shop (can't remember what it's called) and I've given him dandelion leaves (it said that's what to give them now and then) and some other green stuff my mum got

Also dusted some of it with tortoise dust (can't remember the name of that either) for calcium

Feeding him the right stuff will encourage his carapace to grow properly; otherwise, malnutrition will make his shell look deformed and shit.

Be sure to feed him by hand (when you're bothered) and let him out the back garden when the weather's hot.

Yeah I've got a book I bought and read some stuff/watched a video online, so I'm trying to feed him the right stuff. I can feed him by hand usually as I'm here all the time. And we'll be letting him out in the garden once it gets warmer.

I ate all of my Easter chocolate the day I got it lol.   Entire chocolate bunny, gone in under a hour.

I JUST bought my easter chocolate. It sure gets
cheap, a couple weeks late.  :elvis:

Ouch how did you do that?  For a minute I thought it would be gone when you removed the cloth :o

I was crushing some garlic cloves with the side of a knife blade when my hand slipped and drew my thumb along the blade.  I barely felt it, and it was just a bit of an inconvenience to stem the blood flow while I continued cooking.  It's all clotted up and healing now, though it's pretty deep and could take a while, and will leave a fairly large scar.

I did something similar whilst slicing some onion, sliced a few layers of skin off my thumb, it felt like I burnt it.
