Still call the youngest by his full name, but think it's sort of cool other people don't. He doesn't seem to mind.

A guy in my college class is named Lachlan and before he came to college, he had always been called Lachie by everyone. He said it was really strange to be called Lachlan.

And I failed with these names because none of my kids are named these. But I wanted the name Anita but because of our last name, it would sound too funny and that would get our kid teased for her name because she would be hearing Anita this and Anita that instead of I need this and I need that all because of her last name. Plus I wanted to name her Natalie but my husband didn't like that name and I don't think it's a good idea to name your kids after your special interests because mine change.
