Do you live with your parents? Are they the ones fighting?
I live with different parents at differnt times (they are divorced). It was my mum and her boyfriend, and some of the guests we had round for a party, who started fighting.
Has it settled down now? Were they hitting each other?
I have no idea really. It was more the guests that were at it. I barracaded myself in my room. Now the aftermath has happened, i have got to make lots of wonderful choices.
What sort of choices?
Like, what i do in the aftermath. Do i lie and cover the whole thing up from Dad, or do i tell all. I tell all then thats probably the last my brother sees of his mum for a while, and then my dad may crack from the strain of having to look after him. Or the other option, do nothing, and hope the next time the same shit happens again I am elsewhere. I dont have any good outcomes, either choice i make.
How old is your brother? Why would he be a strain for your father to look after?
You are right, that is a hard decision to make. Are there any other relatives you can talk to about it?

He is 13, and a psychotic more or less (he was adopted, so he has issues, to understate). As for talking to other relatives, they tend to be biased towards one side, and cant keep their mouths shut, so no use there. I dont think I have a choice other than to do nothing for now, unfortunalty.
