Een hak.. want ja, ik vind een hak een stukkie prettiger werken om onkruid te wieden. Werkend met een schoffel (hé, da's een moai neerlands woord, nie :laugh:) maak je, mijns inziens, te veel aarde los en eindig je met een welhaast twee keer zo'n grote berg afval.

Um, kan hier zijn dat ik niet geheel de juiste techniek (met de schoffel) hanteer maar toch, ik vind het werken met een goed scherpe hak (of kap zoals ik 'm ook wel noem) effectiever. Plus plus, denk ik nu, de kans dat je kwetsbare wortels van de vaste planten (in de tuin) schaadt is ook kleiner.

Wilde vandaag aan de gang (met wieden) maar het regent bijna continue hier. :meh:

^ No, no.. Hykey said that a shovel is basically no good with 'polder'/clay soil. That's the type of soil at her whereabouts (a polder/gained land from the sea/lake).

Sandy soils, like we have in the region I live in, a shovel does the trick nicely.

(where I still prefer a hoe to get rid off weeds/read my post above  :green: )

Various small tools
An old tricycle
A couple ingots of Cerrotru a low melting point alloy of Bismuth 58%; Tin 42% mostly because I wasn't sure what it was it goes for about $25 a pound
