I find that if I spend considerable time reading my eyes don't focus well on distant things.  In my case I'm assuming it's because my eyeball is lengthened (something I evidently inherited from my Mom's grandmother)  and the muscles don't respond as quickly as they had when I was younger.  My eyesight is gradually getting where I need glasses for distant visions.  But since I had my cataract surgeries with lens implants in 1999, I had vision without needing glasses for about 12 or so years.

What about reading? You need glasses for that, right?

I've needed bifocals for a few years now, I don't see well at close range WITH the glasses I have now.  :nerdy:

Have you tried Bowmore Surf? My sister-in-law gave a bottle to me for my birthday. I like it.

Bowmore is usually a bit too smokey for me. This Glenmorangie and 18 yo Highland Park are my favourites. Strong, but more fruitiness than smokiness.

That's typical of Scotch that comes from Isle of Islay.  8)

Have you ever tried American Moonshine? I've been trying it lately and it has an odd sweetness to it. I kinda like it.  :fiveshots:

Haha, no, but I think Maker's Mark and Wild Turkey are pretty OK bourbons.

Moonshine is a whole new taste. You have to take a shot and swish it around in your mouth, when you do, it tastes like sweet corn. Most people consider it an acquired taste but i liked it the first time i tried it.  8)

I have tried Swedish Moonshine, though. It tastes like vodka but sweeter.

Only foreign alchohol delights I've tried is german beer. I've mainly stuck to bourbons over the years.

And it's cheap. You pay about 250 kronor for a 700ml Absolut here. For that you can get a whole gallon of Moonshine

... which, at that low price, drastcally enables alcoholism and liver failure, thus entitling one to disability.  :tard:
