Do you still use the Kindle?

I bought two black and white summer dresses for my offspring. Both with a kind of fifties look. One checkered with a wide skirt, the other polka-dots with a narrow skirt.
The ladies were very pleased.

Today must be International Book Related Day.  A trilogy about an English family from before WWI to after WWII, 6 cookbooks.

And it was so thoughtful of Hyke to buy a seat for her books.  Most people buy stands for them.

I had seen it in a good bookshop a couple of months ago, nifty invention, but, it was way over my budget.
Yesterday I had the luck to see one in the thriftshop. Paid no more than a sixth of the original price, and it was still brand new.
Now I should be able to read a book in my bed, without discomfort, and without getting cold hands.

This earlier post was supposed to have this picture and the question whether this was what you bought.

I bought lunch, which was a silly thing to do this late in the month.  Friday is money day, tomorrow is egg salad day.

I do. It's an excuse to buy more books. :)

I just bought a new Depeche Mode box set, since they're my favorite band of all time.  I've been a fan since I heard Policy of Truth at age 11 and ran out to buy Violator on cassette.  I used to have a bunch of their rare bootlegs and shit, but it all got damaged a few years ago.

A pack of three cheep reading glasses for just $2.99 - doesn't the cheeping annoy you when you wear them?  Or does the cheeping help you find them when you put them down?   :chicken:
