Bought a bottle of Spanish champagne (=Cava).. only because it was half-price (€4.50 now) in the supermarket. Bought a plastic bag-let full of this year's walnuts too.. for ja, I love walnuts.

I should learn myself to make some walnut-based pastry/pie-lets, I'm reckoning now.

I had hoped those walnuts I bought last year would last till Christmas, but, they were as good as gone, by the time December was upon us. Think I need 25 kgs this year.

A metal basic bed frame for the PR.  Which was easy to put up once I read the fine print which said that twin bed size didn't need the plastic plugs.  It is still sitting outside.  I have been in her room, working on the 2nd bag of trash (3/4 full).  I'm taking a dinner break and will be back in there in about 30 minutes.  This is full all-out war on trash.

I bought cat food today. Shortly before I went to the store today I went out to check my mail. One of the local cats that I have seen and greeted before meowed at me letting me know that she wanted something. So I reached down and petted her - she has not allowed this before - and she enjoyed that but since she did not scent me by rubbing her head on my leg I figured that she must have wanted something else. So I told her to wait and went inside and got about 1.5 to 2 ounces of pastrami out of my fridge and gave it to her. She chowed right down on it. I petted her and said bye. I don't know why she was hungry, maybe her family is in the hospital or something.  Anyway I have bought three small cans of cat food to feed her in the event I see her hungry in the next few days. She cannot live inside because of my allergies/asthma but I have an enclosed back porch that she can have if she needs it. I hope her family shows back up, I have not had a cat for decades now. But she is nice.
