Yes, a black DSH.  We adopted her and her sister in 2003.  My cat is Martha Mitchell, nicknamed Martha/Marty/MartyPartyGirl evolved into Martha Gras.  Her sister was Ashley elolved into Ashley Wednesday.  (Hey we're in New Orleans).

Anyway during the commotion of evacuating for Hurricane Katrina they were accidentally locked out the house (which was fortunate because they wouldn't have survived the 6 weeks we were gone.)  When we got back they had turned semi-feral.  We decided to let them outside.  While they quickly returned to their normal selves we decided to let them stay outdoor cats.  Ashley died last year, but Martha is still hanging around the house.

I trained both of them to come to a whistled cue when they were kittens.  Awfully useful for getting cats.

Addendum - She is fed and watered daily, scritched when we sit outside, not ignored.
Cool. :) Took me a bit to understand what DSH stood for. I have three cats to love - Dennis and Mollie at my parents' place and Liam at Ceilidh's place.

I'm not sure if we'll have pets after Martha goes.  It's so difficult to evacuate with them.  But pets are important to the PR.  If we do get another cat I'd like to train it to do more than come when whistled.  Maybe early training to trim paws?  If I could teach it to knit and purrrrl, I'd be rich, lol.

I bought a gift voucher and a card for my dad as it is Father's Day on Sunday. I got a card and some chocolate aniseed rings for my stepdad (I hope to also get him some socks tomorrow) as well as a card for my sister as it is her birthday on Monday (I already have her present).

I also bought some Mars and M&Ms biscuits to take to autism group tomorrow, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant and medication.

A Fastrak transponder to get across Bay Area toll bridges w/o stopping. I would not have bothered but I got a violation July 27th going across the Bay Bridge to San Francisco on July 27th. Getting the transponder wiped out that violation. Now I have $125 prepaid for bridge tolls.

You got in trouble.   :hahaha:   Were you featured in the court records in the paper?

travel is horrendously expensive here, almost a fiver to get to manchester town center and back to go and visit the head shop or get new clothing, piercings, tats etc is nearly a fiver return. I need to get a disabled pas. Autie, and walking with a cane or staff it shouldn't be hard.

What have I bought? 2 packs of shiitake mushrooms, a big botle of lime vodka (smirnoff, not a favorite of mine at all, prefer russian standard. 2l cheap coke, a pack of baccy, liquorice rizla, 2 chocolate brownies and some cookies&cream icecream.

Going to get royally KO'ed, then soak it up with that ice cream before I need to get up at 8am odd to make an appt with my doc for a new rx.

That's about the same a bus ticket costs here too. I took the bus to the neighbour town in June, when I went through gastroscopy, because they injected midazolam directly into the blood, so I was not allowed to drive. It cost 52 kronor or about £4.  :thumbdn:

I was thinking of the local tram system not buses....fuck only knows what they cost, I might use one once, twice a year at most.
