I need to wait until I get paid, but then I'm going to buy a few liters each of tetrahydrofuran (a solvent similar to ether, used for LAH reductions) and DCM. Could do with some chloroform too.
And I'll grab some benzaldehyde while I'm at it.

And I'll buy some 2-methoxyketamine. I've been hearing good. things about it.
Beyond the pale. Way, way beyond the pale.

A Beretta 92FS that I will pick up next week. It is a late bd present for me for only $475. It came with two neutered 10 round mags and two Mec-Gar 18 round mags. I will use the Mec-Gars as 15 rounders as that is what the gun was designed for. It has only had about 400 rounds through it, damn near new.  :viking:

Nice gun. Great irony that most guns made in Europe are easier to get (legally) in the US than in Europe itself. Italian and German guns are great, but Germany has a draconic gun law (worse than Sweden!) and I guess that goes for Italy too.

I am looking forward to getting it. I have about 8 friends who own(ed) them and I know that 3 of these people put thousands of rounds through theirs with no stoppages. I fired one of those guns myself for about 300 rounds out of a few range sessions and the felt recoil is less than my Glock 17 or 19, HK USP 9mm, Sig 229 9mm or CZ 85 as I recall. Aside from that it is an icon because of its status as the primary issue pistol of the US military and has been put through its paces as such with good results, like 17,000 + rounds between failures. :woohoo:

The Italians even developed the 9X21 so they could use the 9X19 guns w/o using the prohibited 9X19 caliber.  :thumbdn: It is a solution to a problem created by bureaucrats.
