Oh, and over $300 for tickets to see Big Time Rush in concert in Birmingham Alabama.  It's for her birthday and PA and I figured everyone should go to a concert at least once in their lives.

They're 8 rows from the stage and come with a VIP loungs pass and a VIP parking pass.

That's an awesome present.  If they are a loud band, foam earplugs will help.  8)

They are not that loud, they are very aimed at young girls who love to fall in love with boys in a boy band.

curtain rod and heavy curtain.  The door to the PR's room has fallen off it's hinges.  So, she now has a lovely pink curtain room darkening, slightly sound muffling curtain.

Why didn't you just put the door back on its hinges?

The door has several heavy duty nails in it, a half torn poster that was glued to it, a frame that is split and that wiggles back and forth, the screws ripped out of the frame and I'm sure damaged the frame further.  It seems cheaper to buy a $13 curtain and a $10 curtain rod and hang it from the top of the frame with very large cup hooks.  That was easier for me than trying a repair.

They might not be loud, but the females in the audience will be.  Ear plugs are the first thing on my list.  The tickets come with VIP lounge access and VIP parking.

You can leave the ear plugs at home but you risk damage to your ears. That's not particularly cool either. And don't get ME started on sound quality.

Trust me, Zippo, I know, I saw AC/DC and Motley Crue without earplugs!  :headbang:
