Just came back from the grocery.  bought some good grade mince marked down to 99 cents a pound, some drink mix, lightbulbs for the bathroom and some paper for where the sun doesn't shine.

My father is the only one in the family around here who eats ti and brought a big mince meat pie from a very expensive bakery to Thanksgiving diner.  He had one piece brought one home and left the rest here.  We hate to toss it and my wife even posted on facebook if anybody wanted it, most said no but this afternoon we finally found a taker

I like mince meat pie.  I was posting about ground beef, which in england is called mince.  Easy confusion.

Somewhere in the internet is a recipe for mincemeat cookies if you're ever given a jar of it.

As Duke Nukem would say...

BACON!!!

From Middle English bacon (“meat from the back and sides of a pig”), from Anglo-Norman bacon, bacun (“ham, flitch, strip of lard”), from Old Low Frankish *bakko (“ham, flitch”), from Proto-Germanic *bakkōn (“back”), from Proto-Indo-European *bhAg- (“back, buttocks”). Cognate with Old High German bahho, bacho (“back, ham, side of bacon”) (compare Alemannic German Bache, Bachen), Old Saxon baco (“back”), Dutch bake (“side of bacon, ham”), Old English bæc (“back”).

What are the new jobs?

Well, the one I had this past summer working as a mechanic/loader for an ag aviation outfit turned into a longer stint than I expected, and I'll be returning next year at a higher pay scale. Right now I'm working for an aviation maintenance shop. I'll be here until the season starts again.

What kind of planes?

AFAIK, EBM works on crop dusters.

Ugly, but useful workhorse planes.

They're so ugly, I won't post a pic of one.  :M

Now THAT is a beautiful machine.   :green:
