Monty Python episodes (all of 'em) on DVD. There was a sale and I could not resist... :woohoo:

One of the worst meals I've eaten in a very long time.

I will never order pasta at a restaurant again.  No one knows how to cook pasta.  The red sauce was like ketchup.

I couldn't figure out what kind of restaurant they're trying to be.  They had a ton of cliche french shit on the walls, but served Parmesan crusted chicken over spaghetti???  And pot roast... chicken pot pie... jambalaya... it was just weird.

I have only ever had breakfast there, but they had pretty good omelets and muffins.

If you want really good pasta, you should go to an Italian restaurant, IMO.

I believe I remember eating at Ragazzi's when I visited North Carolina and thinking that it was good.

I have no idea how far that is from you, though.

That's right down the street.  We have a really good italian place real close.  I'll have pasta there still, their pasta comes out al-dente, not a tasteless, textureless mass of starch.

Yes, it's no good when it's cooked to death.

We had a local place here that made their own fresh pasta and it was so delicious, but the people retired and their son took over.  He uses regular pasta and it's not nearly as good as it used to be.

When I lived in Nashville, I often went to The Old Spaghetti Factory. It was an excellent place to explore Italian style pasta. Everything was hand made, on site.

Nothing like a great pasta place!

 :agreed:

I love The Old Spaghetti Factory.  There's one in Denver.

There's also one in Saint Louis.
