Suet. Lots of suet and two more containers to set out.
That makes five suet stations I will have set out.
Well, I have yet to set out the new ones.

The cakes I bought were fairly rich in grains as well.

I had every intention of placing out a half dozen additional bird houses as well before the cold got here, but I failed.
All I can do at this point it to keep them fed.

... and work on the houses as time allows.

I have a family history of Atrial Fibrillation and have had a couple of "episodes" recently.  I saw a Cardiologist at The Priory and he suggested I buy one.   I've been on a monitor for the last two weeks - it's about the size of a modern car key and it's glued to your breastbone.

Kind of in transition mode around here. Most of our big seed eaters have gone south now. The robins, some doves, finches, hummingbirds and most of the really "dressy" pretty birds are all gone.
Bigger doves, starlings, sparrows, cardinals and crows that live here year 'round are needing more suet for the cold weather.

I'm keeping the seeds out for now, but I have five suet stations set up around the yard. All very busy, still.

I made a second attempt at ordering my momma a christmas gift. The last ones were expired, so I'm trying a similar product from a different company. Hopefully I'll have better luck this time.  :dunno:
