That is amazing, really cool find. The condition is very nice.

Resembles my dad's old radio I rebuilt recently.
That cable running the dial is usually easy to replace. I think it would be worth your effort to restore it.
I'll bet it sounds great.

I think it's really interesting how the tuning scale is reversed from our Western Electric, Motorola, Sylvania or RCA norms.

I have a soft spot for radios and tend to get them whenever I see them at a reasonable price especially the 'HIFI' stuff. The reversed scale seems to be a European thing it's on a couple other ones I have from this era including what looks like this ones big brother.  Though this radio was made for the American market due to the CONELRAD marking on the dial.    Dial cords are easy and I have a spool of the material already.

Its big brother

What a beauty!
It looks a lot like my dad's old Blaupunkt. I can't read the brand, but the Grundigs had a similar look and function.

When I was  kid, this was my dad's job, fixing radios and TVs. I learned a lot from him.

I bought 28 paver bricks. I'm setting them as a step in front of our back door.

Old knees demand this.

Weird thing about loading up, there was an Asian woman, lovely gal, who ran over to help me load the bricks into my car. She was wearing "that Lowe's blue" color and I thought that she was an employee at first.
But, I'm a MAN and twice as big as she is, so I thanked her and told her I can do this just fine. No need for help.

Then she saw the cloth I use to protect my cargo area and said, "This is too nice. They have plastic to protect. I run get some for you."  I told her no thank you, this is what I use. I began to realize she was not an employee, just a nice lady wanting to help an old man. I'm not decrepit, I have a stiff back and dodgy knees, but I'm still a larger than average, substantial frame of a man in passable health.
She wanted to help.
I came to realize that if I let her help me, I was helping her do what she does. So I let her help stack them safely while I picked them up from the cart.

It was a very odd encounter. She bowed to me and ran away before I could even say thank you or another word.
WTF just happened?

My PC Parts came in today, so I've been slowing putting things together. I'm so nervous because my current PC was a disaster. But at least I can isolate it and work on seeing if any of it is salvageable. Just have to get it a GPU as it doesn't have an iGPU or anythign (the RTX 2070 SUPER is going into my new system).

Beautiful radios.  :o

Hubby bought me an older bench grinder from a sale somewhere...I've needed one forever.

Finally he's getting it after 20+ years.

Flower are nice, but tools are always better.
