Take a look at something like what I got. Mine came from Lowe's, but I bought the last two. Memorial day week end. The racers are in town!! These are hard to find, today.
This is another hardware chain with something similar.

Handy carrying rope handle. It's called a rocket furnace by some. There are many youtubes showing how to build a semi permanent or NOT rocket furnace from bricks and even stacks of lumber.

These little things take advantage of the nature of fire to build a self contained rocket furnace. I twist up a newspaper to suff the center, two or three drops of accelerant to keep the paper going despite losing some oxygen flow (old cooking oil works fine, BTW, takes a litle more - no petrol needed), light it and give a few minutes and you have a couple of hours worth of small, contollable fire.

I have actually watered them to kill the night and re-lit them at another time. Same process for lighting and you're off again.

They don't last that long, but a couple of hours to finish with dogs and s'mores is usually all you need. Bring some music!

Check the link. Sorry, link is messy, btu you'll see. This one is birch, mine are maple and locally sourced, despite what everyone pisses on Lowe's about.

I have a two inch spade bit and, with a few logs, I can make my own.

Used to be easy. You see a tree felled, stop to ask and drive away with more wood that you should carry.
These days, you stop, but, "NO! NO, sir!  It's already sold!'

So watching for storms to take down trees seems to be what is left for me to gather my own for free.

After losing many bids on eBay, I finally won one. It was only for a page of Japanese stamps but I'm happy. I may do some more bidding. I usually buy things outright.

Found a Zhang Yimou film on Amazon I haven't seen yet... so I bought a blu-ray copy, as well as an AUX cord that I connect to my speakers to play my mp3 player in my room.

Also, I've been slowly collecting Funko Pops... right now I'm trying to complete the Blade Runner set that I have in my room.

Well it was Old Fat Man's Day  (30% senior discount)  at Goodwill and this is why I keep going back.

I always look for high quality blades in the kitchen areas. Today everything was marked at half price. Notice the price tag on this awesome, solid maple joiner's mallet! It's almost new.
I guess no one knew what it was and put it in with kitchenware?

Anyway, half price to start, 30% off that and I gave SIXTY NINE CENTS for this!
Also picked up a Henckel paring knife for the same price.

I bought some fancy-smancy artesian handmade soaps to give as a gift. I hope they like them, but I really don't know if anyone still uses bar soaps anymore. I figure if they don't want them, it will make a nice re-gift for someone else.  :lol1: Stuff, I'm so over it. I don't think I've ever been more over stuff in general, than I am now. Last Christmas was awesome because Sugarbutt made gifts and I only bought consumables, with the exception of the one young child in the family. Since then, I've exclusively bought consumable gifts and I may never go back unless someone tells me something they specifically want. Food, drinks, soaps, candles, flowers, and experiences, enjoy it and then it's gone.
