A new office chair, 4 DVDs, Arizona Ice Tea, Ben and Jerry's Americone Dream, and Reese's snack mix.

I needed a new office chair because the one I had before the wheel broke.
Is your new chair comfortable? I recently bought a new office chair because I could barely put up with sitting in the old one.

It's wonderful

Petrol. It cost me $78. I guess that's what I have to pay if I don't skimp and buy Vortex.

Enzymatic cleaner and gatorade.

Guess what is happening at home right now.

HP printer cartridges.  They cost more than the printer cost brand new.

Yeah it's crazy. Sometimes I miss printing some things out in color with my laser, but I don't miss that.

^ I love all things mango too. :)

Bought some mango fizzy drinks yesterday, along with some pizzas which have already been eaten. Most importantly, I now have some diet mixed berry cordial. Wasn't what I was after but it'll do.

Mango?
:puke:

Seems our "friendship" is coming to an end.
 :lol1:

But, mango? Not my thing. Anything mangos can do, peaches can do better.  :2thumbsup: Have you heard about peaches?

Just kidding a bit. I get that peaches are not widely distributed due to a very short shelf life, but if you lived where you can grow them, you'd be in for a rare treat if you had your own peach tree. I have lived where mangos grew and I tried hard to love them, I mean, why wouldn't I?  They are beautiful and an amazing source of many nutrients. Maybe it works like fire, great idea, just don't get too close to it.
But the "everything" to do with mangos is just too much for me.
 :tard:

I still buy them for my kids, brought in to Indiana from Mexico, and peel them and sometimes add them to cakes, but no. Just no.
 :asthing:

Actually, mango chocolate cake can be really delightful.

My 705 RFK materials have finally arrived and I have work to do. Only problem is I also have other work to do.
May not get a chance to do more than just plan at this point.
Don't bother looking it up.

I like mango well enough but it's just okay. I don't buy them because the boy isn't a fan and the fruit shopping is primarily done with him in mind. I've never tried a papaya because I tried reading about them first. I read they smell and taste like vomit if they aren't perfectly ripe, and uncooked or unripe can make people very sick. So I've never been brave enough to eat the fruit that smells like puke, taste like puke, and will possibly make me puke.  :lol1:

When I lived in south Texas, every little mom&pop Mexican bakery had fried papaya turnovers every Sunday morning.  Fabulous pastry! Also pumpkin, but they are not overly sweetened and spiced like the northern pumpkin pie EVERYTHING (even coffee. I'm NOT buying coffee that tastes like pumpkin pie.) that is popular in the fall here. Empanadas, or pumpkin turnovers, baked not fried (gourd bread?  -  don't think about it too long) are really wonderful.
I never see anything papaya up here in Indiana, except dried fruit. I like papaya, but I think the puke thing is imagined. Most tropical fruit puts off the northern tummies to some degree.

I don't think think the vomit thing is imagined. I read it's because papaya produces an enzyme that's very similar to human digestive enzymes. Some people don't mind the smell but others can't get past it. I don't know if the pastries count. I'm sure I've probably had stuff with papaya or the juice mixed in it, but I've never bought a whole one and ate it fresh. One time I bought one and the boy and I were going to try it, but it was still green so I put it in a paper sack to ripen it. Next thing I know, there's a family emergency and the papaya was definitely overripe when I got back into town, so I just tossed it. Maybe when I grocery shop next week I'll think to give it another go. I have a sensitive gag reflex and a frantic aversion to puking, so I worry about traumatizing myself.  :lol1:

Peaches are pretty nice but I haven't had one in a very long time.

Mango chocolate cake? Sounds delicious.

I can't send you any peaches, Reneaden. Plant a tree and water it well to get started. Dry land peaches are some of the best!
I know you have no land for which to do this, but goals are meant to be met.
What better reason is there to buy a house in the country than to grow peaches.
Or pecans! For that matter, pecans are godflesh. Hardly anthing any better than walking out every morning and gathering a big bag of pecans just ripened before the squirrels find them.
