About to buy a new mobile. The old one is giving up and it's time.

Do you hang it over your crib?

More fun that way.

About to buy a new mobile. The old one is giving up and it's time.

Mine is OLD, but still healthy. Need to update though, just because of its age, if nothing more.

Mainly just curious as to which products you are looking into.

Also want to bring a completely new wifi system to our new home. I have a lot more research to do in that arena as well.

An $850 radiator and thermostat for my car. This is not the best time of year for it to happen.

Got the new Pixel Pro. It's huge, but I've started to get used to the size already. My eyes are grateful.

The nice thing about the Pixel is that if you like Android, it's just about the most unified Android experience you can get. It's closer to what Apple does except you still have access to the file system. Also, there's none of the extra stuff that Samsung forces upon you, like an extra app store, browser, and all the rest of it.

I bought a new set of towels with the money my momma just gave me for Christmas. I'm usually bad about not spending cash gifts on myself, but this year I'm seriously all about wanting new fabrics. The boy is getting me a new bedspread and I'll probably get some more cash from another family member, so I'm going to buy new sheets with that. I also want some new pillows but I may have to buy those myself. Sugarbutt says stuff like towels and sheets isn't really buying myself a gift, but I disagree. I know we will both use them, but I seriously doubt he is excited about them like I am and I know he doesn't give a crap the towels are getting old.  :lol1:

The same is true of the sheets. I'm most looking forward to the new bedspread because it will make a big difference in the whole look of the room. I'll probably be glad when it's all viewed as ordinary because Sugarbutt is weird sometimes about new stuff. We don't use rugs in the house so we just toss down a hand towel as a bath mat when showering. Today he told me to buy a bath mat because he didn't want to use a new hand towel, and I said no because the new towels are meant to be used.  :lol1:

Meh. Regular sheets seem to hold up pretty well to me.

And I can't afford silk.

An $850 radiator and thermostat for my car. This is not the best time of year for it to happen.

I also had an expensive repair.  Two new repairs (cam shaft and something else) and 4 tires.  About $1000.

The sheets are fine but the color would clash with the new bedcover, so I'm going to get new sheets. I'm excited about it, but hopefully Surgarbutt doesn't get weird about using them.  :lol1:

Well, it's a 2003 Toyota with only 150.000 odd miles on it.  Barely broken in.  This is the biggest repair since the 2010's when I had the timing belt replaced.  Can't really complain, but I will.
