Moon drop grapes.  :orly:

These very sweet grapes first appeared in 2017 in very short supply. They are named after candy due to their shape and taste.  Moon drop grapes are firm enough to be snapped in half. They are in season from August to October but again in limited supply. Moon Drop® is the proprietary name given to these uniquely shaped grapes developed by The Grapery® in Bakersfield, CA. They are a seedless black grape of the botanical classification Vitis vinifera that offer an excellent crunch and intensely sweet grapey flavor.

omg, treasure!

I'd probably drown them in bleach before building stuff though. But what a find!

It wasn't me, but Kayleigh bought us a new microwave. The previous one, a Panasonic, wouldn't start half the time and would also stop cooking at any time so that we kept having to press Start again and again.

So now we have a Samsung microwave. Kayleigh measured it at the store so we knew the width of it would fit in the nook. It's just sticking out a bit, that's all. She didn't measure depth.

I had know idea this was a thing. Now I'm curious.

My grand kids were over and we washed them in a kiddie pool and left them out on a tarp in the sun to dry.  They are getting a bin  of them to take some  home today and the rest are staying here

I had know idea this was a thing. Now I'm curious.

The only reason I bought them is because that's the only grapes Aldi had that day. They were a little more pricey than the grapes I've been getting lately, but still not too bad because grapes are super cheap right now. I had never seen them before, so I looked them up when I got home. They're not GMO, but they are a patented product of selective breeding and have a special pollination process. They look weird, but they're really good. :orly:

... "firm enough to be snapped in half."

I need to try these...if I can ever find them.

I love grapes, but soft grapes are one of those things with me. Yuck.

I've also been buying golden honeydew melons this summer. I've never seen those before either, but I don't know if that's only because I've been unobservant.  :dunno: Aldi hasn't had honeydew at all this year, so I looked for them at walmart. They wanted almost four bucks for these crappy looking tiny melons that weren't much bigger than a softball, so I was thinking yeah they can keep them. But right next to them were these giant bright yellow balls with a sign that said golden honeydew. The flesh inside looks and taste like a regular one, but I've still been pretty excited about them.  :lol1:

My sensory side is all about trying these moondrop grapes. I love grapes! I've had golden honeydew once, it was years ago. It was good but it's hard to find.

6 Bottles of George Deboeuf Fleurie from Sainsbury.  25% off, less the £20 of Nectar points I had saved it came to next to sod all.

Bought an old Samsung tablet. It's never been used but it also doesn't start or charge. I got it ridiculously cheap and I'm pretty sure I can fix it, once it arrives.
