Not what I bought, but what I unbought.  For the first time in my life (except for the first couple of years with my parents) I do not have a landline.  The middle of May will see me without cable for the first time since the mid sixties.  Planning on an indoor antenna, a Roku or Firestick, and a few internet channels.  I think we may save $100 a month.
I was very reluctant to get rid of our landline since we'd always had one. Now it's just our mobile phones.

What do you mean by internet channels? Do you mean TV shows online?

That's excellent about the savings.

Yes.  Netflix, Amazon Prime (The PR can get Amazon Prime for 4 years at the student rate since she's on public assistance), Britbox, etc.  Will give each one a trial and see what makes up the best mix.

I bought Sugarbutt a new wheelchair, because all the wheels on his old one suddenly crumbled and fell apart. The only thing we can think is maybe something spilled or leaked in the garage and evaporated before we noticed it.  :dunno: He hates when I make him use his wheelchair, so while I push him around in it he pretends like I'm his neglectful hired help. Whenever anyone does anything to help us, he thanks them profusely and then points at me and says, "this one here won't do anything for me".

Dinner. Couldn't be arsed to cook.

I bought a grab bag of items at the thrift store.  Among the goodies was a brand new cat collar.  Decided to have some fun and put it on Martha, our cat.  She loves it.  But now she wants to sit in my arms and be cuddled.  It's like the damn thing has bewitched her.

She's thanking you for her new necklace. You don't usually buy her jewelry  :lol1:

It does look rather good on her.  She's coal black, the collar is red and the wee bell is black.

Aww..My most favourite cat that I had from 1995-2012 was a black kitty. She was the runt of the litter after I rescued her feral Mum to spay her before releasing her back to her colony. She could never be domesticated. But we kept her with her babies until she weaned them. My cat wasn't supposed to survive and she was never more than 5 lbs her whole life but she was an amazing cat.

No landline, no cable access available here.

We've got a roku and a $5.99 a month sub to hulu, antenna for the locals that we never watch.

I still have a landline because cell reception can be unreliable in the boonies
