Are we going to see your all-new sexy death stare renster, when you get the new ones? its tres purrty:D

Got all my xmas gifts to myself to get (there aren't many people TO get me any left of my family, so we do small exchanges of useful things). I've been saving for a long time though and afaik its this monday and tuesday I get paid another few hundred a time. I can't wait for all that LAH, potassium/sodium cyanide, ammonium formate, Red-Al, iodine, pyridine, piperidine, lots of new glassware, lots and lots of lots of glassware, hydrides (about the only one the suppplier I'll be going through has I WON'T be buying is sodium borohydride, because I already have quite a lot of it)

And once I'm done stocking up my lab with more chemical supplies, then its going to get pimped out to the eye-teeth with new glassware, a new vacuum pump and plenty other stuff to drool over (well obviously not into the hydrides, given the propensity of most of them to burst into violent infernos in the presence of so much as traces of water-vapor  in the amosphere. Drooling over LAH, etc. would result in the drooler getting their face burnt to a crisp)
Beyond the pale. Way, way beyond the pale.

^Ouch, be sure not to drool then!

It will be a while before I get new lenses as I'm going to sort the car out first. Then I'll make an appointment.

What's really good is that they actually work in bridge mode, which means that I can keep my router and the wired network I have around the house. Most of the alternatives are meant to replace your router completely.
Yes!  I like that.
I have only a few things wired. That does not make me not look more closely at the Velop system. I am still deciding on what to get. I HAVE to have a modem interface first or something that does everything.
Since you have it you know better than I do that Velop rocks for a home product.

Popcorn to pop, candy, BBQ ribs, chips and dips, etc. for tonight.

It seems to be better than the alternatives, config-wise, and the coverage is a lot better than I dared hope for.

Don't worry, I will be most careful Ren.

100g of LAH (lithium aluminium hydride/LiAlH4,  a powerful hydride reducing agent known for its extreme water and air-sensitivity, bursting into flames at the slightest provocation, such as failing to dry the glassware to be used with a flame before use), if nothing else, when bought dirt cheaply, that'll still cost me about 130-150 euros), so it all going up in flames would be a financial disaster even without injury. Its very, very difficult for non-affiliated people (I.e private citizens) to get served with too. I don't have that sort of trouble, I don't DO restrictions or 'watched', and if I want something badly enough, I'll get the money together and buy it, since I've a few rather good connections for getting stuff most chemical vendors wouldn't dream of selling to a private individual :D

Two boxes of drinks and some potato salad.

Booked myself in to see the chiropractor on Thursday.
Booked the car in for a service and the exhaust pipe to be fixed on Friday.

This constitutes a busy week for me.

Bought two tubes of 'oragel extra strength',  basically 20% benzocaine in topical gel form. Had hy old man grab it for me, and I'll pay him back when I can get to a bank. Such as when I get back from tomorrow's consultation with the doc.

A bag full of double raspberry 'magnum' ice creams (ew those awful sticks, not touching that bit of them, or even scraping it with a knife , the last bit of chocolate goes in the bin. Those sticks are an abomination), two packs of 'classic' cigars, and a big big bag of large bags of different candies...midget gems, jelly  babies, treacle toffee...I feel like celebrating today; because I just got back from an appt with the doctor, who, after so many years of my trying for a script for it, because it can do so many wonderful things for me, in terms of quality of life and other neat as neat gets shit....its brilliant. God's own medicine, the flask held by seraphim whilst the archangels add the dimethyladamantyl bromide or tosylate and then form the amine,...it really is. Doc told me he's gonna go with it, after listening to my explanation of what it does for me, and what its capable of, how it does what it does etc. and said yeah, just let me make one phone call to cover my own arse (because its an alzheimer's drug, generally scripted by specialists), got a fresh seizure rescue pack script, and should hear tomorrow from my doc about the memantine, and get cracking with actually starting on it tomorrow, hopefully :D

Lol funny moment, when he said, 'just need a quid pro quo', him meaning covering his ass with a phonecall to a specialist...I thought he meant..something else entirely...and the look on his face at the potential shopping list was rather..ahem...one of shock. Bit of a spazz mis-read moment there. But funny nonetheless.

Although the doc was shocked to shit when  he asked the memantine dose i use when starting a cycle, and I told him '50, three times a day, (mg), first day, then 100, 50, 100 next day then 100, 100, 100. He knew it as coming in 5mg, 10mg and 20mg pills or liquids etc. Thought I meant 10mg and 5mg, until I had to explain it to him that I wasn't taking pills, but buying the raw crystalline memantine hydrochloride, weighing it on my mg-sensitive scale and just dissolving it in a drink and knocking it back in a shot of orange juice of something similar. If he looked pale as a ghost after that spazz moment of mine, then he looked like he just shit his britches. Still, quite funny.

Just post-it notes to put on the new Star Trek calendar when it arrives (ordered online) as it doesn't have any space to write anything.
