you mean if the propane tank overheats somehow? I'd not be so sure about that. Gas tanks have a nasty habit of turning into long, thin razor-edged flying blades when they overheat. Especially, it seems if the initiation of propagation is uni-directional. Ever seen a deodorant can embedded in a tree? gas tanks seem to flatten out into a flying ribbon when they blow. At least thin ones do. Never got so close to one about to make a mess as to get within range so never really found out that. But you'd be surprised how far you can launch a propane tank into the air given the right...setting. Especially if its one of those thin blowtorch bottle type things, that ain't something I'd want to be near when it went off.
