Where is the little chicken, anyway? :-\

All that talk about food, chefs and chef-knives may have scared him away.  :'(

Come back, little spring chicken, the bovine will stand between you and the chefs.

More wood glue, several packs of sanding belts, six new router bits, a new battery operated (DeWalt) drill/driver and some acrylic wood filler.

Bought myself a bottle of some premixed lime and soda cocktail, I thought was a mojito; one of those cocktails that despite my not being a vastly prolific consumer of
CH3-CH2,OH, only it was not, it was another cocktail based on some spirit I never heard of in my life before. Looked identical, that pastel shade of translucent lime green, and said flavored with lime juice and soda, to how a mojito should look. just cheapo but still alright stuff from aldi, looked identical, so I got a bit of an unwanted surprise there, nevertheless it was drinkable enough, to slug the entire bottle down with my breakfast (all deities that may or may not exist, please at least consider damning whoever made the policy of not serving cheeseburgers until something like 11-12 in the afternoon to drink from a lake of festering, stinking diseased knob-sore of a thousand generations of their own fanilies worst examples of a syphilitic, gin-addicted gutter whore (think somewhat previctorian, maybe tudor era to early victorian) for the image I had in mind for the gutter whore, riddled with the pox, selling their pestilent, louse-riddled cunt flaps for a bottle of ye olde mother's ruin)-originated, centuries old pus, riddled with corruption, and the rot, decay and putrefaction that is the result of centuries of careful tending in Hades, whilst their  pre-12am bacon-double-cheeseburger-nazi body should IMO be condemned to be bathed for all eternity in the foulest stenches Perdition has to offer,  and  not to mention infested by so many maggots and carrion-eating flies and insects that the tossrag guilty of more or less telling me to go away and not waste his time in question has next to bugger all hope of being able to tell his arse end from a heaving mass of blowfly maggots feasting on his corpse in hell.

And preferably covered in   1,2-ethanedithiol-going up to selenophenol, baths for such originators of illogical, needless and totally pointless rules/policies that force others into  being inconvenienced. As a general principle,  regardless of who/what and where.

And right along the scale of 'this bloody policy is both utterly pointless, and as stated, turning otherwise potentially good...err...potentially useful humanoid NT beings into drones, and on the far end of that nasty little peeve of a scale, the ones responsible, can go get sprayed with telluroacetone ( grub fascists to homicidally hungry, I could cheerfully douse the prick responsible from the lower, naturally occuring rectum, to the one that spews such a gout of feculent verbal liquid excreta saturated waste of perfectly good O2 in the result of cracking open telluro-acetone trimer to the monomer, assuming the Te compound is actually stable. , and forcing choice between things like egg mcmuffins and other awful sins against gastrointestinal systems the world over that are attached to cheapskates in a rush to get some FUCKING FOOD DAMMIT! THere is NOTHING I can eat short of fries and milkshakes etc. on that breakfast menu those nosh-hollowcaust-enfocing national socialists force on people in the morning.

In the short time before  I KNEW I would lose all appetite for the day, snarky, utterly w/o use, or fired it (some populations of lestat's un-holy demented cultist flock think it would be a righteous act to disembowel the guilty, politically correct pestilent incarnations with a feces-covered rusty teaspoon; and-or A couple of WP and beehive flechette rounds repeatedly, over an over in the fires of perdition :P

Main things  I bought were some music CDs, a new stereo to play them on, 3x5pill packs of pyrazolam, and one of etizolam. Along with a couple of g of ching for some pre-RX'day vein candy, and a bit over a quarter oz of some nutritious and delicious 'rather special' green plant buds. And lol...quarter oz? each eighth turned out to weigh almost a Q in and of itself on my digiscales.

Also bought a few bottles of codeine based cough mixture, and some DHC tabs (useful only after a cold water extraction, in which dissolves the extremely soluble opiates that ilk, whilst paracetamol which is the usual adulterant simply precipitates out if one simply immerses the tabs. Ground up or otherwise, but it isn't needed, they fall apart, and all is the needed to stir it up good, let all the APAP float around, then back in the fridge to settle down on  the bottom of an insoluble precipitate of APAP.

Day is just starting for me, so I just got dressed, dragged myself to the doctor, got
my scripts for my weekly goodie-bag, bought a daily mail and two loaves of brown bread.

I really, really, really did NOT want to wake up, get up, dress, or do anything other than slouch my way to the fridge for a cold drink, and freezer for ice cubes to make it nice and icy. Didn't want to move one bit, after spending all yesterday and last night slamming some of the most ass-flattening potential I have ever had the good fortune to enter my veins. FUCK that shit was strong as hell, surprised me.

So I benzo-ed myself out cold with a few packets of pyrazolam and etizolam and however far I made it through that one bong I packed, before I felt myself hit with the force of a ten-ton fluffy feather pillow. In fact I woke up late to collect my scripted meds, just got home, and sitting down with my feet up, listening to my b/day (belated a bit true but hey, better late than never) gift to self, a special edition of one of Otep's albums, and a bunch of cheap selections music wise aside, got a copy of one of nevermore's albums. Sadly they didn't have that one I truly went for, the one containing 'psalm of Lydia', but 'inside four walls' and 'narcosynthesis' by them are still on it, and are some of my favourite songs by nevermore.

Contemplating buying myself a dangerous animal licence (DWA licence for the UK), so as I can have this petshop I know of, one that really seems good in the way it treats its animals, and on their welfare hunt down that cute wee scorpion I'm after, Parabuthus transvaalicus, one of the african fat-tailed scorpions, not the truly lethally toxic ones that are usually called fat tailed scorpions, those reside within the genus Androctonus. Parabuthus .T is one amazing scorpion, it alone, save possibly for others of its genus, among all scorpion species is capable of spitting venom. Well not truly spitting for it comes not from the mouth, but from the tail. Just like a cobra, piss it off or ill treat it, and it will give a warning shot if from a distance, consisting of a jet of scorpion venom launched, cobra-fashion (lesser range and visual acuity its true, but an arthropod cannot expect to live up to the targeting and range par excellence, compound eyes and all. But it's no shabby little jihadi wannabe sniper to say the least.

And coming home, got my stuff prepped....mmmmwoowwwowwowow that was amazing. I truly needed that big fat shot of morphine with a little oxy mixed in on the top to ice the cake and give the morph a bit of a harder punch:)

Could not help myself but lie back in the computer chair and sigh with pleasure :)

Sounds like some people are starting some projects  anything interesting?

Getting the projector in shape, that's all. There's some surface oxidation that needs to be addressed since the booth was not properly insulated for years, before last year's big booth insulation project.

Bought a different type of pillow for my head.
Don't like how it feels when I lay my head on it, thinking about sleep. But, I fall asleep soon, and I wake much more rested. Aching in my shoulders and neck is slowly getting less too. And thus, less pain in my arms and fingers.

Why my calves, feet and toes are feeling better too, I don't know, but I do not mind.

Bought this young cheese made of goat's milk at a proper cheesemonger yesterday. It's gorgeously delicious. Probably going to eat the whole chunk this evening (with a nice glass of tawny port).
