Hé hoi, Hykey. Ça va bien?

Um, 't lijkt dat de wens mezelf te uiten 'n tadski terug is.   (Ooh ooh)

Het lezen van bovengenoemd boek helpt daarbij ook wel iets, geloof ik.

Books. Belated BD present for my brother, a book for myself. A book for all in this household, and two other books to send as gifts.

Just ordered them. Not at an online only bookseller, but at the webshop of Waanders. I would love to go there, but I have not time. If anyone of you ever happens to go to Zwolle, do visit the bookstore of Waanders. It is very pretty.
Bit weird though, because it has the sound of a late medieval church.
That is what the building is, and they kept it's atmosphere pretty much there. On some days they even have an organ player giving a concert in the shop, on the church organ.

I also bought an enzyme containing washing detergent, biotex, to clean the pillows of my youngest after a big nosebleed, last night; toilet paper, for usual use; and lakrisal, to satisfy a still ongoing liquorice craving.

In Prague, yes. They have great beer and the Mexican restaurant just happened to be the closest.

I bought a massive display of Asiatic Lillies for Valentines day to impress my wife.

Of course, when spring comes, I always plant them in the garden, cut them down and wait for them to reproduce. Sometimes, the bulbs are just too fertile to just make a few babies and they bloom again, trying to create seeds. I would rather that they just produce minor bulbs along the stem to be set in for following years' blooms. NOt sure how to force one instance over the other.

Pretty sure, the way they reproduce "next" has more to do with they way they were forced into bloom in the winter than anything I can later control.

I have done this for many years. Most of the past ones are still alive and reproducing in the garden.

... but if I get one that makes tiny baby bulbs along the stem, instead of seeds after flowering, I can guarantee several more plants of the same type within a year or two.

Makes it worth the trouble to try.

Her smiles upon seeing a forced bulb two or three feet high in the middle of winter make the investment seem wise.

I bought my twin an ornamental cat for her birthday. I looked in a lot of places and finally found one at the Dolphin Quay markets.

No, we are not identical, though it would have been cool if we were. She has dark brown hair and an almost olive complexion while I have red hair and am freckled. She is quite slim whereas I am fat (recently). She has had 3 kids and loves being a mum whereas I have either worked or studied during my adult life. We are pretty different.
