Makes a note to get dryer sheets for mine, since the moth balls will kill my ass.

Hope those little buggers choke on the perfume. :voodoo:

It is said mice hate the scent of peppermint.
So, will be dropping cotton balls with peppermint oil on it on several places in the attic, if it happens to get colder.

Soil is extremely wet now though. Don't think new mice will make it to the entries to the walls and attic this year. They did last year, but that was an exceptionally dry year in my garden.
Have not heard any resident mice since the beginning of spring, nor have I seen cats happily hunting in the attic.

I read that also but it needs to be reapplied more often though I might get some peppermint oil when I go to the craft store this week and give it a try.

As far as the industrial trap thing goes I don't really want to kill them I just want them out of my tool and storage boxes.  My outdoor cat Chicken wing likes to try and catch them and in the summer I have a nice population of garter snakes around my yard.

I have no need to kill them, as long as they don't infest my house. They did do that last year, most were killed by my cats. I did not catch any by my traps. Did catch a few by hand, and put them outside, far enough from my home not to be able to return. When they start being a pest, eating, fouling and damaging things, I have no objections to killing them though. Hate the idea of rat poison. And lots of rodents are getting immune for that anyway, cats and dogs aren't, so they may get killed, eating poisonous mice.

Bought nothing today.
It's a Sunday, there is nothing for sale where I live, today. Apart from cigarettes and condoms from a vending machine, maybe. And later today, the fat snack, for those not wanting to cook a meal.
