And the wankers in power are all excessively rich, class-ist, snobby sacks of shit who couldn't give a fuck if the common man starves and dies in the gutter, as long as they don't have to clean up the bodies themselves or pay somebody to do it. Or if they did pay somebody it'd be minimum wage. What they call 'what the law says is enough for you to live on' (their official wording, not mine) paid to the disabled, is not enough to rent a house, it is BARELY sufficient these days just to put food in a man's mouth, and drink in his tankard, and that only if he lives rent-free or in some situation of extremely reduced rent, such as I do, paying the bare minimum of housekeeping to my old man monthly, £120 a month. Which no actual landlord on earth in a 1st world country would charge so low as, for so little as a garden shed. Hell you wouldn't get a chemical toilet for that much a WEEK let alone a bloody month. And as such I can eat/drink, and either buy myself a modest supply of the chemicals and glassware I  need to actually LIVE rather than simply not cease metabolic processes in a manner compatible with continual bodily existence, or save up over time to buy myself a really nice treat, like analytical equipment, or the rotavap I'm getting this time, and if I've enough after, a new vacuum pump and manifold+pressure gauge.  Was originally going to get a UV-VIS spectrophotometer, but I've seen better deals on some rotavaps that are worth snaffling up now, and worrying about the spectrophotometer later (and besides, once I translate the original from riussian, I've found online, a really neat interferometer-based fourier-transform-IR spectrophotometer, and an FT-IR is actually the type I want most. Guy's built it himself, and even written the code for data-capture via the sound card of a computer. And that is going to work out WWWWAAAAY cheaper than the minimum about 5K second or third hand for an FT-IR if your extremely-fucking-lucky on ebay. And its rare to begin with to see one, most of them are UV-VIS.

That reminds me...COKE!.  I want coke. I have for ages and I haven't had more than a few slurps, kinda forgot, and got distracted by berry jelly with summer berries in it-topped cheesecake, a giant chewy bready pretzel and some damn fine baked pastries with cheesy filing.

And oohhh..I forgot..Ive got bananas. And lot of em. Got two bunches the other day. And I've just been waiting for them to ripen to the point where they start to be covered in brown spots, and get all nice and squishy textured and super-sweet.

That is sexy^ miss K with a chainsaw. Hell yes. You just need a good theme tune, a pair of wraparound shades, some big leather boots and a trenchcoat.....that look contrasted with your naturally sweet-cheeky type of smile, that would SO rock. \m/ \m/

How much was the chainsaw? petrol driven or electric? If I were to get one, it'd be the gas fuelled type rather than something tethered to an electrical power source. For mobility reasons.... :heisenberg: :evillaugh:

Gas powered. This is what I got:

Big enough to cut down the massive pine tree that came down in a storm last week. But not so big that it's overpowering.

Overpowering the one and only miss K? my  ass :P like you'd let that happen.

I can just picture you swinging a chainsaw and grinning in a part spesh and part kinda manic nutty way (in the good way). Its a nice mental image too :D You+chainsaw=wholesomeness in a definitely unwhoesome, chainsaw-wielding sort of kind of wholesome-way. If that makes sense. And if it doesn't it still is :autism:

(yeah, yeah I know I know, I'm a spazz, so catch me stimming and what, sue my ass? try it. With or without chainsaw. Although with would be downright fun to watch.)

An early Mannheim Steamroller CD (1988 season),

A CD of nature sounds:  wolves and other critters- thought of Phoenix when I bought it

An illustrated book of Medieval life

A ginormous T-shirt that I would like to make into a dress or a tunic

Am I  the only one to have read miss K's last post as 'and nobody died yet'?

I bought two new bras and some undies from Big W yesterday. Big W is a lot like Kmart which is at the other end of the shopping centre.

Bra wire had snapped at the bottom and stabbed me in the ribs. Never had that happen before. Usually the wires work their way out at the cleavage.

Ouch!

Had that happening a few months ago, at the gym, during the warning up. Had it once before. Nasty to one, those wires.

I'm glad I was home so I could take it off immediately. But on warmup at the gym? What a pain!

It's a very small gym. We were standing in a circle when it happened. I walked away to the dressing room saying my wire snapped and was stabbing me. Women only that day. But probably would have done the same if there had been men around.
Took off bra and did the hour of training, skipping the bouncing exercises.
