No, they've always shown up in the list. A ban affects the banned, not others.

Did I really forget to make a signature?  Nearly 100 posts and no snarky or amusing comments below any of them.  I hang my head in shame.

I think most people block the signatures of others from appearing in posts because some people put inappropriate pictures in theirs.
 I block them because I don't want my kids seeing them.

I never had them blocked, till recently. Indeed because of the young ladies in this household. Sometimes I unblock them, just to see.

Maybe I need to find out again how to block specific images, so that I still can have all the sigs.
