Their time and position on the list keep changing, so they're moving from one unknown action to another; not like they're timed out or stuck on an actiion and falling to the bottom of the list.

Might call for an experiment, but would think once a new topic was entered as a guest, then it would show as viewing that topic, even if the first one visited was unknown for that reason.

Has anyone ever noticed a guest reading the recent posts link? The one at the bottom of the index page by the karma stats link.  Can't remember ever seeing it. Maybe that's it. Hard to test with so many right now though.
