I have seen it, but I was younger at the time. For some reason the bit that sticks in my mind is the baddies trying to kill the old lady, and killing her little dogs by mistake

I am really going to date myself here.  Back when VCRs were new (early 1980's), they had mail-order clubs, just like the book clubs of old.  Well, the VCR tapes were usually $39.95 and up.  I didn't send in my postcard in time to say I didn't want that month's offering twice.  I ended up paying $90 for Stand By Me and about the same price for A Fish Called Wanda.  Big price to find out I didn't like either one.  And no, I was too honest to say I had returned the postcard and decline to pay.
