If you don't then how would you know which threads have people actively watching, reading, posting in them and so you can avoid those threads by default.

I actually look there first every time I log-in. I'm not sure it helps. I still get busted.

The ONLY times that I've done so,
are when I'm waiting for a response,
in order to see if someone is formulating
one.

Nothing matters enough here to do that,
for quite some time.
