This man contained much fatty substance.   His lard could have been utilized to make some biological fuel, sadly it is buried with his corpse under six feet of dirt most likely.   Other than that, he served no purpose to this world.   Seriously who gives a fuck about preachers?   Despite my spirituality, I hate church and preachers both.   Jesus most likely would have destroyed his church for having a gift store in it anyways.   This guy was the classic case of someone who thinks he is not guilty throwing the first stone.

I don't know about that.  I hate extremists.  Period.  At the moment I probably fear Muslim extremists the most because I just saw a documentary about that Choudry guy in the UK.  But the take home message from the documentary is this - "the masses" are "the masses" because they are stupid and need directions.  Like sheep.  The danger with people like Falwell is that people force it on minors who can't think for themseleves, and raise them to treat it as "facts".

I don't believe that extremism exists because of the icons we attribute it to; how could Falwell whip up the masses into a state of destructive extremism (which would be what in this case? Gays being beaten maybe?) if there was no other catalyst? Jerry Falwell's flock already knew how it felt about gay people. It's the same thing with Islamic extremism. How is it that we know America and Israel, Bin Ladin, who the icons that they want us to identify are what cause Islamic extremism? Because it gives us a reference point and is easier for us than to acknowledge the fact of the political climate and quality of life in the Middle East.
