This afternoon, my internet connection got screwed up, and although I'm still able to connect, I've been getting speeds of what I can only guess must be averaging 0.1Kb or some such awfulness (it should be 5.6Mb), with frequent errors and pages outright refusing to load. I called BT about it, and they think it's a problem with the line between my house and the exchange, possibly related to a recent speed upgrade. They said to call back in 24-48 hours for more information, but at the moment there's no indication of how long I'll be stuck like this for.
