Its a viscious cycle.
If you are feeling like a victim, then going onto WP ( for example) and reading all
the other posts from people who are also victims does nobody any good.
You may feel less alienated because you realise there are other people also feeling
shit for similar reason. But what good is that ?
They just end up re-affirming the fact that they are victims.

I got a certain positive feeling at trying to help some of the people there.
But it was really draining. I pretty much leave the more capable people
alone - I figure I can't really do much for them; anyone can tell them that
what they need to do, but none can really reach them. I know because that's
like me.

But, those who are actually being forced to take drugs against their will, and
who feel that they are losing every last shred of their souls, I do what I can to
convince them to bust out of their confines, and escape. But, they are unwilling
to take the steps necessary, and I see them fall down the path of becoming
drones. Really gets to me.
