Discouraging news about people I don't even know.   One I can pray for.  The other I have to realize that participating in the drama is gossipping.

A praying group here in my village, I suspect, is a sanctified gossip circle.
I got invited to it once, told why I wouldn't join. Did not even mention the word gossip, but got as an answer that it was on the verge of being just a gossip group indeed.

I've struggled with my definition of gossip.  Gossip depends on my intent.
If something about someone is shared to showcase me (guess what I know that you don't or thank heavens I'm not her) rather than the person I'm talking abouta or is said to hurt them, then I call it gossip.  If someone I know needs good thoughts or prayers from others I will ask, but not mention the persons name or details of the condition.  "Jill, could you pray for someone I know who is having a hard time and could use some prayers right now?"  G_d will know who the prayer is for.

If I watch a train-wreck TV show or clip on the news because it tittilates me then it's gossip, even if I don't know the person.  If it has information that is useful (safety or a crime wave) then it's not gossip.

This is a tough "sin" that I struggle with.

The smell of the glue I bought with the 1:72 scale model of a Stuka.. um, to glue all the plastic parts together.. is really intense. Have some of said glue on my fingertips as well and that's a second bitch worth, I think.

It's too thin a layer to peel off. Nothing to peel but the fingertips go numby and I tend to keep rubbing them with my thumb.

Well, 1/8 of the 1:72 model is ready now and is put aside to harden now and yeah, most of the glue smell is gone now too. Think tomorrow with more daylight I will continue building the thing and also think I'm doing a better job at it now than I did when I was 10/11 y/o.

Um, a life's lesson here? Seek for what you loved doing when you were young and try to find the enthusiasm you had back then doing it.
