I had it looked at a couple of days ago.  The doctor prescribed a proton-pump blocker and sent me for a blood test to check for antigens to Helicobacter pylori.

I have always assumed since men like this are somewhat widespread (they aren't rare anyway), and they don't ever seem to change, that logic indicates that this behavior must actually work a certain percentage of the time.  I have always wondered why.
