I think we have lidocaine spray here, but I don't know if it's OTC. We actually have lidocain pills to suck on against cold, and they're OTC.  :-\

You would never spray that into your eye, though.  I got some prescription eye drops for pain and some for infection when I got the battery acid in my eye, but I don't know if Odeon could get those eye pain drops in Sweden.

I don't find any lidocaine for eye treatment. Turns out that lidocaine was actually invented in Sweden in the 1940's.

I got some drops 20 years ago, when I had laser surgery in the eyes, but those drops may be banned by now.  :-\

They still make eye drops with cocaine in them it is mixed with lidocaine
