The only years I did not have mosquitoes all around were the years I had sprayed my house with an anti flea spray.

We do have less in winter, but, the part of the village where I live has them the whole year round. One street from here, they have maybe 5 mosquitoes in a year as the most. Some say it is because of the lack of draining tubes in my street. They could be right.

Yes, you may be right about that, but I'm still struggling to express the anger productively instead of
hoarding grudges and grinding my teeth till they break. It's damned uncomfortable at this stage of my evolution.

Yeah, I just have real trouble mustering the anger when I have the chance to confront.
The way I was raised, I had to limit myself to "sulking" (my mother's term) and passive-aggressive stuff.
I am also working against people's expectations of me after 20 or more years of working with me.
It's a lot easier IMO to start off immediately being assertive and commanding respect when you first get to know people.
