My young friend at work just told me that I bought the wrong kind of digital camera. She meant for me to buy one with a special rechargeable CAMERA BATTERY INCLUDED,
but I misunderstood her and the no-help-at-all people at the electronics store sold me one that takes not-included rechargeable AA batteries, which last about 2 hours between charges.
I am not planning to return the camera, because I don't have the strength to put myself through the hassle, but next time I'll know better! 

That's no problem, since you can easily buy more rechargeable AA batteries for the camera and extend the time between charges.  I think what you bought would be much cheaper than the one your friend suggested.
