I think it's more to do with resistance to change and that I never wanted a dishwasher. Took me ages to warm up to the microwave oven, and even then I prefer to cook thinks on a stove. It just tastes better.

I don't like change either. If my former landlady hadn't decided, in 1998, to sell her house and move across the country, I'd still be living there amid the animals! I only got my own apartment because I had to. I'm glad now, but I had to be pushed. :laugh:

Swanky hotel in downton Boston, but the night has been disrupted by a violent domestic incident followed by some crazy drunk chick knocking on the door for five minutes, finally answering it, only to have her try to bust in to 'get her coat' that she supposedly had left in some other room. It took a bit to convince her she had the wrong room.

Now my roommates won't stop snoring. I am already having trouble getting to sleep due to an overactive mind and nerves.

Oh great, now a bunch of Spencer for Hire action on the streets! Yay!

My family stayed in a Holiday Inn for a few nights back in the 70s, and there was a volunteer firefighters' convention in the hotel at the same time. Boy, did those guys party! One night, a couple of them were drunkenly ambling down the halls, knocking on doors and slurring out a song: "Why did you LEEEEAVE me here all alone?" My mother was pissed, but I thought it was hilarious!  :2thumbsup:
