I put the oldest to bed with a head to toe deep pressure and the youngest is playing with My Little Pony on the floor and now i'm blocking out the world with jazz music in my earphones. It's helping me decompress. I seriously don't think I could function without music. It's essential to me being able to cope.

He's overstimulated, off schedule, off a med (as a trial...let's just say it failed miserably and he'll be going back on it tomorrow) and screaming, self abusing, and melting pretty much several times an hour. Yeah it wasn't pretty. Thankfully, we *knock on wood* seem to be over the worst of it. The ex and the youngest are out of the house for an hour or so. Me and the oldest are decompressing and the house and very, very quiet. I think this is exactly what we need to get through the last 2.5 hours before bedtime.
