My external hard drive was knocked off the table this morning by the bitch and it broke the internal read/write mechanism. Of course, it was my fault for having it out in the first place. I was in the middle of downloading stuff from iTunes when it happened! I had not backed it up since January, so I am hoping I can take it somewhere to get my data. My entire music, video, and photo libraries are on there, and I have been downloading almost everything in recent months! Fuck!!!!!!

I had a MRI of my ankle yesterday and I got the news today that I need to see a surgeon.  I have two ligaments that hold my ankle bones to my foot that are torn.

 :(

Thanks, but if I have to guess, I think that the surgeon will recommend surgery, since that's what he does and the radiologist couldn't even find one of the ligaments on the MRI, which probably means that it is completely severed.

They gave me Vicodin and offered to call in a prescription for more for me, but I have been using it only at night because the pain bothers me most when I'm trying to sleep and it keeps me awake.

I'm using Aleve, which is nearly prescription strength doses of Naproxen twice a day in the daytime.
