There's a house alarm down the street that's been on for at least the past 20 minutes; it was on last night too, and disturbed my sleep.  It's sunny today, and I'd quite like to open my windows, but the noise would be too loud then.

While I'm stoked about "Heading up to Boston" (to find my wooden leg) tomorrow, I am not pleased that once again a snow storm is coming through the day I am scheduled to fly up for St. Patrick's Day Weekend. If I get stuck again, I am going to be pissed!

Calculus.   It is the teacher and her damn Powerpoints.   I would rather watch her work out the problems in real time on the blackboard.   This is the first time I have seen Powerpoint used in a math class.   I am used to that with a history or science classes lol.

The guy who lives next to the house with the alarm went around and tried to close the windows, though most windows here are designed to resist manipulation from the outside, so I don't know how successful he was.  The people who live there must have gone off somewhere and left their windows open, and the wind was probably getting in and setting the alarm off.  It would have been interesting if the police had turned up and saw the guy fiddling with an open downstairs window while the house alarm was going off.
