I'd suggest you to upgrade to the latest 3.0 version. 3.0 is considerably easier on computer resources.

I'm using Firefox version 3.0.4.

I had trouble with version 2.0.something after a Microsoft update. Trouble again after upgrading to 3.0 (randomly opening, on several occasions, fifty or more instances of Windows' Task Manager, FFS!)

Since I had reported the FF errors, they sent me a patch by an email link which expired after I clicked on it. I have had no more problems since then.


Upgrade and always report errors to Mozilla.

Not worthy of a new thread, really.  Just that
-I had to shoot down one of my single male friends this summer
-another is apparently trying to get up the guts to ask me out but keeps chickening out (but I see him once a week so it's a constant threat- don't want to date him)
-a third guy I've been talking to from a dating site I've been delaying saying "I only want to be friends" because it's actually not a line and I knew I'd run the risk of never talking to him again, which would/could/will suck (dunno his response yet), but because of a conversation he and I had yesterday I kinda knew I'd have to set that limit today; for all I know he feels the same way I do but I rather doubt it given context and general boy-patterns especially those of the guys in my life lately and all I can hope is he takes it well
-a guy I've been friends with a long time and who is in a committed relationship with someone else and who I've been pretty sure had kind of a crush on me that I chose to ignore pretty much all but directly asked me to sleep with him a couple of hours ago, so now I feel completely weird talking to him at all because I don't want to encourage him to be thinking about anyone but his fiancee, and I really fucking resent that because I used to like talking to him before he started talking like that and now I feel like it's kind of dicey to even have a conversation with him anymore about anything

...so the last one made me want to snap, but at least put the second-to-last one in perspective for me, because nothing that can happen with the second-to-last one can be as fucked up as what happened with the last one.  (Of course I curse myself by saying this.)

In closing, I would really like to be able to be emotionally close to other people without it getting FUCKED UP EACH AND EVERY TIME.  Thank you.

Stop washing, start picking your nose and scratching your crotch in public and buy your clothes from a charity shop?  I'm pretty sure that would cut down on the number of guy-friends who hit on you.  Of course, it might also cut down on the number of guy-friends, and friends in general.
