I went looking for a local brand the other day. Only found one that was ridiculously expensive.

i imagine it was.  but as i said, look at it like a medicine, because if there was a pill to cure your allergy and it cost that much, you'd pay it without a qualm.

can i have a point for "qualm", please?  it's such a lovely word.

How expensive was it?

Maybe you can find one that's a little more reasonable because it seems like it's definitely worth a try.

that is expensive.  might be worth getting it at source, though, and it'd be a nice morning/afternoon/day in the country.  ;)
