I got woken up by the fucking banging from next door. he didn't stop until nearly 22.00 last night, and i'm already into sensory overload this morning.
wtf can i do about this? i get on really well with my neighbour, but this has been going on for months. i can't work when he's making all that noise, so i'm behind with my sewing, and i have to start the work on my thesis next week.
i'm going under... 
No chance he could stop a little earlier?
dunno. i know the work has to be done, but i wasn't expecting it to take so long, or be so distressing for me. the only way i can do anything is to "go official", and that would curdle things, whic i don't want. i hav e told him how much it disturbs me, but i don't think he gets it.
i'm just so sick and tired of it - the constant headache isn't helping.
