Perhaps a lot of people on /b/ do embrace it, but I doubt I do since although I instinctively scroll faster, forget the image sooner, and only partially consciously acknowledge them, i know I still feel fear, horror, and disgust when I see them.

I scroll slower past them than I do with normal, boring pics.  Indeed, I spend quite a lot of time taking in every disgusting detail in them, while I tend to only partially consciously acknowledge boring pics.
