"Window" is actually a Norse word, meaning "windeye", because the first windows were just holes in the walls, with no glass in them but merely a piece of leather or something. Ironically, this is nowadays just used in Norwegian (vindue), while Sweden and Denmark use the words "fönster" and "fenster", from the German word "Fenster".

I'd love to get lost in a gun store. When my brother was in the US, he went to a gun store and tried different types of guns, including guns that only the military is allowed to use here in this wimpy Europe.  :eyebrows:

what i meant by get lost is...
never return to sweden and fly under the radar.  because you are white it would probably be easy for you if you just shut your trap.
though i would suggest NOT blowing up any streetsigns.

I know what you meant. Maybe I'll do that some day. My brother has been to the US several times and we have friends and relatives there.

If this thing with my new girlfriend works out fine, we will probably leave Sweden anyway some day. She wants to move to either Germany or the US. But I don't dare to hope anything for the longer term yet. I've done that before and ended up very disappointed.
